Having written and published Loadmaster Chronicles which dealt with my involvement in the Vietnam War as a C130 crew member, I came to realize that the period of time from the end of my high shool days til my entry into war was an extraordinary time not just for me but for America as well. This book is not a war story but rather a saga of two teens from New Jersey who strive to deal with all the complexities of life with the added problem of forced separation and complex issues of morality heightened by events beyond their control. These issues are presented from the standpoint of the sixties. The uniqueness of this book is found in the inclusion of actual letters written then and saved all these years. Also included are interesting facts about the two major happenings of the era - America's Gemini Space Program and the amazing evolution of Rock music.
